Total Wine - unbelievable

Post by Broob » Mon Nov 18, 2013 9:57 am

I was in Florida for a couple of weeks and stumbled on a pretty awesome liquor store, Total Wine. Not sure if anyone's been or heard of it but they have them all over the US. Picture Costco for alcohol. I snapped a few pics of ONE of the beer aisles. Amazing selection of not only beer but rum, scotch etc. If anyone gets a chance to get to one of these places I highly recommend it. Tried some pretty great beers that I've only heard of and a lot I've never heard of. Spent an hour and a half there the first time just browsing with my mouth open.

Looks great, but I'd be very concerned about the huge haphazard looking stacks of boxes of beer on top of the shelves falling on someone. Looks a bit unsafe.

I was in a Total Wine store in Naples. It was hard to see the incredible selection because I was crying... Did you get a cataloque? This is the kind of store Ontario needs, but it will never happen. This store was amazing.

There is actually one in the north end of Spokane, WA. Great store and only 5 hours away by car! :rockin:

I didn't see the tap area in your pictures. The Spokane one has about 40 taps were you could drink on site or fill any growler to go. They also had a fast bottle chiller in the front of the store if you found a bottle on the normal shelfs but wanted to drink it soon with like say a to go pizza.

They were also handing out samples of a new Vodka at a small booth. Americans do it right.
