Re: Board Game Fans??
Great! Putting the pledge in now. It's not too late if someone else(s) wants to join with us. Lemme know.
The way kickstarter works, is that nothing goes out until te funding goal is reached, so there is a possibility that it won't be funded. However, he is halfway there in just over a week, so it's looking good.
And the games won't be shipped until the new year. So no cash due until I've got the games in hand.
Any updates I hear, I will post here.

I'll take one too. It shouldn't be too late as he's not acting on it until November 25.

Got it, TimGr. I've put in the first "pledge" of $114 (4 games including shipping), and will wait until closer to the end of the fundraising to submit the second group. The savings seem to break down over 4 games, but I hope we can end up with them all being $29 (or less).

Re: Board Game Fans??
Hi guys, as an update, we are less than a week away from the Pint Craft Kickstarter closing. It is a few hundred short (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/nic ... pint-craft" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;), but trending to break the minimum level in a few days (http://www.kicktraq.com/projects/nickhe ... hart-daily" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;). The deal with these crowd-funded projects is that nothing happens (and no one is charged) unless the minimum level is reached. In that vein, I went ahead and signed us up for 8 games, so that we could keep the $29/game price (and help along the project so it was funded). As such, there are 2 games up for grabs. The game will be out in February, so no cash is due until the games are in hand. If you are in love with the game/idea, there are other levels of funding that will get you tshirts or other sorts of things, but I've got our 8 games reserved.

Good news everyone! Funding for Pint Craft has made it high enough, and will go ahead as planned. As mentioned previously, the games will not be in hand until February.
Also, 7 of the 8 ordered games have been spoken for. If you want in, you've still got time. After that last one is spoken for, you'll be on your own, and the price jumps from $29 to $35+.

I was just in Dartmouth Surplus and seen Risk Onyx eddition for $35 if any of you are interested in that it seems like a good price.
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Re: Board Game Fans??
Hey, anyone remember this thread? Well, I finally received the games. It only took 3 months longer than anticipated!
We got dinged at the border with a bit of GST (and the shitty UPS fee to collect the GST fee), so the final total is $33.81 per game.
Here's the list of folks who had requested them way back in Oct/Nov. I hope everyone is still interested, or else I'll have a bunch of extra games. Contact me via EMAIL to organize a pickup. I'll be around this weekend, and will be at the meeting Tuesday. I'll be up in NB at the end of the month for a drop-off for Graham and JohnE.
Pack of 8 games:
chalmers
Ryan
Graham
bluenose
KMcK
TimGr
JohnE
One left, anyone else?
