The Bräuler

Post by jeffsmith » Thu May 26, 2011 12:04 pm

Ran across this on Uncrate: http://thezythosproject.tumblr.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Looks very cool, though I'm not holding my breath on affordable price, nor availability in Canada.

They say competitively priced with glass growlers... might be a nice item to have.

Definitely would be handy to have. I signed up for the mailing list. Holding out hope that I'll end up getting my hands on one.

Sounds like this might turn into a group buy once they get released.

:thumbup:
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

:thumbup: Good call. I'll keep my ear to the ground on this one and will update this thread.
