Moose Light Ginger
Anyone try this yet?
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Moose Light Ginger is described by brewmaster Darrell Little as “a summer beverage with a slightly sweet, gingery taste.” Adding to its summery image, the beer is being marketed as being suitable to serve over ice with a slice of orange.

I believe I saw Bobby_OK tweet that he was drinking one. I've seen nothing from him since, so perhaps he didn't survive the experience.

Re: Moose Light Ginger
A response of "I lived to tell the tale" would give the beer too much credit. We (me and several non-beer geek poker buddies) decided that "moldy ginger ale" was the best description we could come up with. That said, I suspect it will go over better than Moose Light Blackberry.
Tweeting about that beer did bring some entertaining responses though. I particularly liked the "Is there a Moose Light MaryAnn also? I always related to her more than Ginger" response.
