I also see they have a new (and seemingly improved) logo screened onto their glasses..

Weizen on at RR
I think this went on Sunday. A bit fruity; i could taste some bananas. Overall refreshing, maybe a nice patio beer.

Yeah, I think they're decent. Glasses selling for 6 bucks ea. I believe this will be going on hats and shirts in the coming weeks. i.e., my wardrobe will finally be clean

I wonder if they used Ringwood for this? Glad to hear there's some banana on the nose. Will have to check it out this weekend.

If they used Ringwood, it would make for one weird weizen.....

Doesn't Propeller use Ringwood for theirs?

No, they use a more appropriate strain.

Good to hear. I had heard that years ago, my mistake for passing on bad information.

Re: Weizen on at RR
Is there anyone from Rogues online? I find them incredibly difficult to get info on, short of phoning Lorne, which is always...uh...an experience. I've tried emailing them via their site but no one responds.

Re: Weizen on at RR
I'm usually in on Wednesdays and also enjoyed the Weizen and noticed the new glasses last week. I've never asked for strategic information, but info on the beer is hard to get, even descriptions of new brew is more like a "choose your own adventure" than anything else.
Brewing right now: whatever is going on tap at Stillwell in a few weeks.
