60 days for yeast to evolve to multicellular creatures... Very cool, but I've got barleywine at home that's 3 years old and some Orval that is 4. What the hell has been evolving in them?

Awesome, but not all that suprising. Who here hasn't seen a strain of yeast mutate over several generations?

This is really cool. Mutation is one thing, think just how much mutation is required to become symbiotic, then dependent on your fellow cells.

I've seen this happen among drinkers as they get drunker and drunker. :drunk:

I've seen plenty of instances of drunken friends having to help each other to stand, get home, pay the tab, etc.
