If you were in Marion Bridge the black flys would put out your fire.

"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Green Flash's Dia de Los Serranos. If anyone can recommend a good 'chilli' brew, lemme know. My first test at posting with photo. (Feedback welcome)

Collaboration blonde ale with Mckay75. We used a kolsh yeast and it's tasting great.

I enjoyed it but really liked their pilsner. Apparently Steam Whistle is to be delisted from the NSLC so this might be my new "go to" warm weather favourite when I'm unable, as always to keep up with my demand. Seems I'm my own best customer :rockin:

I was saving a bottle of chimay blue for a special occasion.

I just royally destroyed my foot at work so I'm opening it as soon as it warms a little.

Whine doesn't pair well with China. Be a man and walk it off. But get some good cheese to pair with it. And want to hear more about this destroyed foot.... Err how it happened.

Nothing that exciting, just rolled my ankle super badly at work climbing down from a scaffold. Super sprained and a broken toe. Probably off work for a few weeks at least.

You go Mitch! That's some serious dedication to "arranging" a bunch of extra brewdays.

The sad thing is I was thinking about brewing either this Sunday or next week sometime but I don't know how I would mash in on crutches, or navigate my absurdly disorganized storage room to dig out grains.

North Belgian IPA. First time trying this style. Floral and fruity - must be the Belgian yeast? Nice to try something different. Would definitely drink again.

That's a great idea. I may try that with a batch of berliner. How do the bottles hold up over time?
