2015 Atlantic Canada Beer Awards

Hi folks! The second annual Atlantic Canada Beer Awards is set for next month. I'm assisting with organizing the event this year, and have already sent out an email to the list of BJCP judges, so l thought I'd post on here asking if there was anyone interested in stewarding the event? We have multiple sessions this year to keep things manageable, though we may end up scrapping certain time slots of there isn't enough interest.
So here's the Tentative Schedule:
Thursday, October 15th: evening
Friday, October 16th: afternoon and evening
Saturday, October 17th: morning, afternoon, and evening
Sunday, October 18th: morning, afternoon, and evening

The morning sessions will likely run 9:30-12:00, the afternoons from 1:00-4:00, and the evenings from 5:00-8:00.

Awesome, thanks Keith. We had mentioned the Delta Halifax for location, not sure if it's been confirmed or not but it was great last year.

I'm waiting on my schedule after a meeting for a project. I imagine I'd be good for Thurs or Friday night and anytime Sunday. Saturday we are doing a upgrade so unsure the expected schedule yet. Keep you posted.

Hi all,
Just to update you, the location will be The Seanachie (upstairs of the Old Triangle), and we're booked for Friday from 6pm-10pm, and Saturday from 10am-4pm.

Keith, were you still good for Friday?

I've never heard of the Seanachie - do we get there through the old Triangle or is there a separate entrance?

Hi everyone, thanks for the offers. With the new location, and new judging scoresheets, we've scrapped the Thursday and Sunday sessions. We *should* be able to handle all the submissions over Friday and Saturday.

I'll be sending out an email in the next few days with more details about what to expect, when to arrive, etc. for those who have volunteered.

The judging finished today and I wanted to say that as is usual with the local events I've attended, there are the usual suspects organizing and stewarding (i.e. Doing the real work) that deserve a huge thanks for your effort to pull these things off. Thanks very much guys, you work hard behind the scenes to make it easy for the judges. Great job! I'd name names but I'd miss some new faces that were working just as hard as those I know already.

I might need to take a trip to the valley this weekend to pick up whatever seasonals are on. I almost need to find someone who comes to the city on a weekly basis!
