Micro-Brews 4.75
Alley Kat Apricot · Alexander Keith's IPA

When did Keith's and Rickard's become "Micro Brews"?

It's important to define what you mean by "Craft Beer" at that point, because IIRC those breweries brew small batches and operate similarly to any other small business microbrewery. Molson just happens to be majority shareholder. The other definition includes that the brewery must not have majority share owned by a larger corporation.BobbyOK wrote:I saw someone call out the Air Canada Centre recently for their "Craft" beer selection. All Molson owned - Creemore, Granville Island, and Mad & Noisy.

Yeah, same parent company, now, I think. Creemore isn't a *huge* brewery. Mad & Noisy is a branch off from Creemore (the Mad and Noisy rivers intersect in or near Creemore, thus the name, which is kinda neat). The Mad & Noisy product line has more of a Craft beer feel/appeal. I'd be happier to see all those on a craft/micro list that Keith's and Rickard's, personally.evanisnor wrote:It's important to define what you mean by "Craft Beer" at that point, because IIRC those breweries brew small batches and operate similarly to any other small business microbrewery.
