Bog myrtle

so beaus and garrison are using it in their ad. Am I missing something or is it a blatant rip off the brewing network?

i dont know what you are referring to in either case, but bog myrtle is something beau's has been using in beer for at least a couple years.
planning: beer for my cousin's wedding
Fermenting: black ipa
Conditioning:
Kegged: barrel barleywine from 2014 - i think i still have this somewhere

sorry, yes i knew this. He referred to them using it "in their ad" and "ripping off the brewing network" - those were the two things that didn't make sense to me.

I always thought it was some type of peat moss and bn used it as a joke. I stand educated and corrected.

Iirc, bog myrtle was in the original recipe for houblon chouffe...
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:

No of fence meant, I thought maybe they had a radio ad or something. Yeah its used as an alternative to hops historically
