Kind of an old school/modern mash-up.

At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.

Re: IPA Glass
A friend of the group bought a couple of the Sierra Nevada ones, and they are quite nice. Will hold 500mL with small room for head. Probably won't be able to get them with the Brewnosers logo, but maybe someone has connections at Spiegelau to get the blanks for printing...

Re: IPA Glass
I'll touch base with Spiegalau to see if a volume purchase is an option. I'll also check with Jeremy to see if our BN glass connection can source them. Stay tuned....

I think they're pretty ugly and won't your beer just get warmer faster with the shape of the bottom? That being said, if you do a club order put me down for 2
I may be slow, but my work is poor

I like them. I have similar glasses from Keith's that I use from time to time.

Too bad that they didn't make a real IPA to pour into them!Tony L wrote:I like them. I have similar glasses from Keith's that I use from time to time.

But it is true with Keiths. Have you ever tasted so much hops in an IPA before?

Re: IPA Glass
Ok fellas, been working with Bert Knol of Global Hotelware in TO, one of Spiegelau's Canadian importers. Spiegelau has advised that they will not sell direct.
Bert can offer us;
48-96 glasses = $18.04/2 pack ($9.02/glass)
96-288 glasses = $16.40/2 pack ($8.20/glass)
288+ = $15.74/2 pack ($7.87/glass)
Plus tax, FOB TO
I asked about getting our logo installed;
Know1 (Jeremy) is checking with our last glass guy to see if there is an option there.

So, the glass cost is a bit more than I thought it would shake out. Not sure if I'm still as enthusiastic.....but let me know what you think.Hi John,
Dogfish Head and Sierra Nevada cooperated with Spiegelau to develop the IPA glass.
The factory in Germany told us this morning that they have an exclusivity agreement with these breweries which prevents Spiegelau to custom decorating the IPA glass.
Unfortunately they will not be able to apply your logo on this glass.
Sorry.
Kind regards,
Bert

I'd still be in for a couple at $9+tax/glass.
